Headed out of the US into Canada. Arrived in Montreal and encountered our first accommodation disaster – so much for economising by staying in hostels.

A great city right on the water, one of the most beautiful approaches we’ve ever seen. Much more European than any city we visited in the US – even the food looks more English – how can that happen only 450 miles from NY!
