Nanaimo

A small town (although second largest on Vancouver Island) about halfway down the east coast. A hopping point for a few small islands off the coast - Newcastle, Protection and Gabriola.

One of the islands had a floating pub - accessible only by ferry, perfect place for a couple of drinks as the sun goes down.
