Sydney - Selling the Big Red

After a rocky start “Big Red” served us well all down the East Coast. We needed to sell her before Christmas so headed for the Kings Cross Backpacker Car Market. No glamour here – the second basement of a multi-storey carpark.

The market had a number of cars and camper vans, but we were told Big Red would be popular and we might only be there a day or 2. The first morning we had 2 offers but foolishly decided to hold out for a better price – over 5 days later we finally sold …… for less than we were offered on Day 1! Without meeting some excellent people we really would have gone mad in the dungeons.
