Lake Taupo

From Auckalnd we headed south to Lake Taupo. The spectacular Huka falls (more like rapids) flow out of Lake Taupo, the colour of the water was so clear and blue.

We also visited Craters of the Moon, a thermal reserve with amazing hot pools, mud pools and steam vents. The area certainly looked like something out of the movies.
