Cairns

Cairns is essentially a town which exists for all the activities related to the Great Barrier Reef. I'd been to Cairns 10 years ago so knew what to expect, but for Steve he was anticipating something much larger - just goes to show how few people really do live in Australia, they think it's a big city!

After a few days lounging by the lagoon we started the process of trying to buy our car to get us all the way to Sydney (more about that adventure later!)
