Drakensburg Mountains

We stopped at the Drakensburg Mountains (in Natal) on the way back from the coast and stayed at the Cathedral Peak Hotel (thanks Jane!). The area is magnificent and shows off the beauty of rural SA.

When stopping to take photos you get surrounded by young kids asking for sweets so if any of you are heading that way soon make sure to come prepared with a big bag of sweets! Unfortunately due to our injuries we were unable to hike but we’ll definitely come back to this area again.
