Abel Tasman National Park

From the West Coast we headed north to the Abel Tasman national park. We were both looking forward to the Kayaking - Em was overjoyed when we ended up in a double Kayak. The guide said Em was a good first mate although on the way back when I was sitting in front I really had no idea how much paddling she was doing.

We also did another 20 km hike through the park. We caught a water taxi to the start of the walk and then made our way back to the village. We were gutted when we came to a point where at low tide you can cross the beach in 20 minutes but at high tide when we hit the beach we had to walk around adding another 2 hours to the hike!
