SCG - England victory at last

An England victory can it be possible? We managed to get tickets to the second final of the Commonwealth Bank One Day series at the SCG, where, spurred on by our support the England team annihilated the Aussies to take victory. It was a great day out although the rain put a dampener on things a few times – thanks to the never ending supply of beer the spirits of the crowd remained high.

We were really fortunate to witness Glenn McGrath’s last one day international at the SCG. In typical style, he took a wicket with his last ball and the last ball of the England innings. Unfortunately for Australia this was to be their final moment of glory on England’s day.
