The Whitsunday Islands

If there's something that is a "must do" on the Australian East Coast it's a trip to The Whitsundays.

We went on a 2 day/2 night trip on a catermaran called PowerPlay - there were 16 of us and it turned out to be an excellent couple of days.

One of the highlights was a trip out to Whitehaven Beach - voted the best beach in the world. Pure white sand and the clearest water you can imagine (still no swimming without a wetsuit though - damn those stingers!)
